Vodafone, a multinational telecommunications company, partnered with Wimbledon as the Official Connectivity Partner, aiming to enhance the Wimbledon experience for fans through their world-leading connectivity and 5G technology. As part of this partnership, Vodafone Business had the opportunity to hold customer meetings in the Vodafone Suite during the championships. This case study highlights the collaboration between Vodafone Business and Frontline Display, their agency partner, to create a flexible and immersive meeting environment for their business customers.



The Challenge
The challenges faced by Vodafone Business in this project included designing assets that would enable effective customer meetings within the Vodafone Suite without impacting the ongoing consumer events at the championships. The assets needed to be flexible, portable, and visually captivating to engage business customers and showcase the latest technology.
The Solutions
Vodafone Business collaborated closely with Frontline Display to develop innovative solutions and assets that would meet the unique requirements of the project. The following solutions were implemented to address the challenges and create an engaging meeting space:
Bespoke Display Pods: To ensure flexibility and easy transportation, Frontline Display designed and manufactured bespoke powder-coated metal and aluminium display pods. These pods were mounted on wheels, allowing for effortless movement around the venue. This ensured that the Vodafone Suite could be set up and rearranged as needed without interfering with the consumer events at the championships.
Interactive Metahuman Screen: Frontline Display created a portrait “Metahuman” screen to provide an interactive experience for visitors. Users could choose an on-screen avatar that mimicked their movements in real-time. This interactive element added a touch of excitement and personalized engagement for business customers.
Multi-Device Content Sharing: To facilitate content sharing across multiple screens, Frontline Display installed various devices such as iPads, Google tablets, and Apple TVs in the Vodafone Suite. These devices allowed for seamless content sharing and presentation, enhancing the overall meeting experience. Backlit stretch fabric graphics were utilized to create visually captivating displays that captured the attention of visitors.
QR-Code Linked Displays: Frontline Display created visually impactful reverse printed displays, providing visitors with access to various client content on their own devices. Linked QR-Codes allowed for easy navigation and retrieval of information. This interactive feature enabled business customers to explore specific content relevant to their needs, fostering a personalized and informative meeting environment.
